NON-COMPLIANCE WITH GUIPÚZCOA, ÁLAVA, BISCAY AND NAVARRE TAX OFFICES
This incident occurs when non-compliance is detected with one of the tax offices in the Basque Country or Navarre. Remember that in order to receive the Basic Emancipation Allowance you must be up-to-date with your tax obligations. Non-compliance could be either a debt (not having paid income tax) or a formal non-compliance (not having submitted your tax return or some other report that you are required to although no payment is needed) or a debt arising from a legal sanction (a traffic fine, for example).
In order to resolve the incident, you should contact the tax office concerned and rectify your situation. Once the incident has been resolved with the Tax Office, and so long as your autonomous region has not withdrawn your right to receive the allowance, the Basic Emancipation Allowance payments will resume during the month following the resolution of the Tax Office incident. It is not necessary to send any documentation to the Ministry of Housing.
